The luck of storytelling

Along with skill, journalism is partly luck. I was covering a high school music boosters’ annual car and motorcycle show when I came across a parent. He was standing behind a Panhead Harley Davidson motorcycle and started telling me a story about fate and how he found it.
I introduced myself before I asked him to start over. He went through how, as he helped a friend, he came across a man who owned a motorcycle similar to the one he’s wanted since he was a child.
